Todd has established multi-disciplinary methods for framing collaborative processes across his practice to guide social impact organizations and communities of practice that shape local places and the public sphere that connects people at planetary scales. Approaching transformation through co-design is rooted in his training in architectural theory and practice. He informs projects through recommending participation dynamics that manifest in his projects at the intersection of design for narrative experience, program curation and leading organizations that manifest community co-design for social impact.

Purpose and place
Todd’s experience collaborating on questions of purpose in places motivate his facilitation of dialogues and contributions to narratives on issues inclusive of learning in the public sphere, cultural diversity and heritage and the social, ecological and constructed factorsinfluencing human places and settlements.
His current focus on collective inquiry evolves means to support place-based and ground-up collaborations. These demonstrated drivers of local change are often challenged to meet the scale and urgency of systemic level challenges that are negatively impactful across global boundaries.

Collective inquiry
Collective inquiry applies narrative, dialogic and participatory meaning-making methods to strengthen social impact communities and cross- collaborative learning networks. Todd supports these “collaborations in inquiry” by introducing creative capacity building activities and facilitated conversations. He’s capable of welcoming diverse practitioners to connect with and find resonance in larger communities of practice. His approach supports people who value the potential of collaborating across expertise boundaries as a critical method to deliver strategic impacts.
